1. Imagine this with a crisp white shirt and a nice medium-gray suit. You just stepped out of a black and white movie, and don't you look dapper! Ah, the masculine ideal. Throw your hat on and take me dancing!
2. You've got a nice courdoroy jacket paired with jeans, it's your first day of grad school, and you want to look good but not like you're ridiculous. This says: I'm serious, I'm studious, I'm a little boring. The well-fitted jeans say, I play hard, too. So does that gleam in your eye.
3. So you sold out. Not the end of the world, not a tragedy. Put on your nice light gray suit and say, hey, world, giraffes make me smile. And so do high-priced hookers.
